An Electrical Engineer by education having more than 14 years’ experience in the field of Renewable Energy, Resource Efficiency, Energy and Climate Change management in development sector of Pakistan and internationally.Have worked with different industrial sectors (sugar, textile, cement, paper & pulp, renewable power plants), Provincial and federal governmental institutes of Pakistan, and mostly with international development organizations (e.g. USAID, ADB, UNIDO, World Bank, IFC, USTDA, UNDP, GIZ, EU and GIZ).I am also an internationally Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) & Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), USA.I am an expert in renewable energy (especially Biomass and PV Solar) on developing Financial Modelling, Tariff Calculation, developing concept notes, developing Terms of References (ToRs) for procurement, contract negotiations and Policy Assessment.I am an expert on different climate change mitigation techniques such as Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). I have registered 06 CDM projects in Pakistan which accounts for 0.6 million CERs/year.I also have expertise in development of GHG Inventory, Development of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA), Carbon Foot Printing and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects.I have conducted several training sessions, delivered key notes as a guest speaker at different energy efficiency and climate change forums nationally and internationally.
