I saw regulators conduct tests, got to meet senior management in specialty groups, met 100+ firm employees independent from the programming, attended firm events and obtained my securities licensure while still an intern. Capstone project was an automation effort to enhance speed of capital flow in the private bank which involved creating a task map and training offshore employees on a focused task and presenting to senior management on implementation.I learned the intricacies of a massive financial institution, the value of relationships between stakeholders (both within and outside of my group), and the importance of finding synergies within a large financial institution.
