Senior Program Associate on the Global Exchange Unit, working as an implementing partner for the U.S. State Department on professional exchange and capacity building programs, namely the IDEAS (Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for U.S. Students) Program, the Professional Fellows Program on Governance and Society, South & Central Asia, and the Arts Envoy Program. • Assisting Program Director in grant opening activities including application development in Salesforce, website development, conducting a needs assessment survey, program promotion and outreach through social media and mail campaigns as well as attending conference • Implementing five-week inbound sessions of the Professional Fellows Program, Governance and Society, South & Central Asia including managing the recruitment and selection process, overseeing the J-1 visa application process, arranging program logistics, facilitating fellowship placements, monitoring groups of 18-30 Fellows for approximately one month in-country, and communicating with program donors• Implementing two-week outbound programs to South/Central Asia as part of the Professional Fellows Program including arranging program logistics, facilitating the successful issuance of visas, developing a program schedule, and serving as liaison between participants and program activities during travel• Overseeing a team of two staff members working on the Professional Fellows Program, including delegation of logistical tasks and managing communication with outside stakeholders• Managing a portfolio of Arts Envoy programs, including arranging logistics for programs of up to 14 participants• Compliance Liaison: communicating with compliance department staff, drafting and routing compliance documents, and serving as a resource for teammates on compliance-related questions • Assisting in grant and proposal writing activities for U.S. Department of State program grants
