I was part of the team that selected SolidWorks as the primary CAD/CAM Software to be used to design Manufacturing Systems, Fixtures and Testing Equipment. I was then tasked with implementing standards for SolidWorks documents, system settings, answering questions, interacting with our reseller and Gentex IT, along with other SolidWorks related tasks. This was something I could do along with my other roles at the time because the company was much smaller at the time. As the company continued to grow, CAD/CAM Software Administrator became my full time focus January 2010. I accepted a role as Mechanical Engineer / Process Development / Project Management.
