M.Sadeq is a Mechanical Engineer, who obtained his BSc degree from The British University in Egypt (BUE) and Loughborough University. He is also an MSc degree holder in Renewable Energy from BUE and London Southbank University. He has over 6 years of experience in academia, the private sector, organizational, and regional experience in the solar energy field.His research activities include both fundamental and applied topics. The fundamental research is focusing on the methodology of developing online and offline PV and BIPV sizing tools in Grid-connected PV systems. The applied research includes investigating the best Techno-Economic solution for installing PV systems in Egypt. He developed the first free bilingual (English/Arabic) Techno-economic pre-sizing tool for grid-connected PV systems in MENA Region, applied in Egypt, and published at WILEY. He also developed a MATLAB code classified as a New Concepts in Solar and Thermal Radiation Conversion from SPIE, The International Society for Optical Engineering, USA. The Code is used as an offline tool for the Pre-sizing stage in grid-connected PV systems for technical users applied in Egypt.
