After graduating in 2023 with degrees in Accounting and Finance, I have started my professional career with Moss Adams, LLP in IT Consulting! As part of the Risk Advisory and Compliance group, I work with a variety of clients to provide reasonable assurance that their internal controls are operating effectively to facilitate a secure environment and avoid external and internal risks. A large part of our work in IT Compliance is issuing SOC Reports for Service Organizations that build trust and confidence in their clients and users. Depending on the need of each client, we can provide either a SOC 1 or SOC 2, most commonly, guided by criteria developed by the AICPA. I am interested in pursuing a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), and potentially the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), to help the firm provide quality services. I am confident that the opportunities and people I encounter at Moss Adams will prepare me for a dynamic career in accounting and financial services. The industry is constantly changing, and I am eager to see where the work takes me in the future!
