Following my year as a part-time Business Development archivist with Artefactual, I was asked to join the team full-time as a Digital Preservation Specialist on the company's Enterprise Team. In this role I am responsible for:-Working with clients in the development and practical application of digital preservation workflows-Facilitating the development of quarterly digital preservation goals or priorities-Gathering metrics on system performance, throughput, issues and consolidating them into client reports-Running training sessions and quarterly meetings for clients-Monitoring and resolving outstanding, ongoing, or recurring issues with client systems

Following my 4 month co-op term with Artefactual, I was asked to join the team part-time as a Business Development Archivist. In this role I am responsible for:-Working directly with customers in the use of Artefactual software and services-Running demonstrations of Artefactual's digital preservation software-Developing resources to document internal processes and improve Artefactual's Hosted Digital Preservation Service-Testing new software releases

-Working directly with customers in the use of Artefactual software and services-Running demonstrations of Artefactual's digital preservation software-Designing a customer survey to identify ways to improve Artefactual's North American Digital Preservation Service (NADPS)-Analyzing data and writing statistical reports -Writing feature files (Gherkin) to outline outcomes of new features in Artefactual's specialized Digital Preservation Services

Following my 8 month co-op with the Pacific Canadian Wildlife Service, I was asked to join the Indigenous Partnerships Initiative team in Ottawa on a 4 month Federal Student Work Experience Program contract. During my time with the IPI Team I was tasked with:-Starting the design and development processes for a national Indigenous Relations DatabaseDuring this time I was also tasked with continuing work with the Pacific Indigenous Relations Database that I built during my Co-Op. I was tasked with:-Developing a full library of instructional materials for users and administrators of the database-Launching the database for live use

As a student Database Developer with the Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS) I was responsible for:-Designing and developing an Access database to house data pertaining to the Pacific CWS’ meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities and organizations in BC on matters pertaining to species at risk, critical habitat, recovery work etc.-Designing a database to house funding data from ECCC grants and contributions Additionally, I was responsible for: -Leading administrative duties in the national collaboration between the CWS and the Center for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER)-Lead administrative duties in the regional collaboration between the CWS and the Indigenous Advisory Monitoring Committee to develop a co-mentorship program-Supported BC’s regional lead on the EcoGifts Program to process all land donations

As a retail sales worker at Lucky's my primary responsibilities included:-Handling in-person transactions-Fulfilling online orders-Training new staff members-Assisting customers with any and all inquiries they might have-Placing orders with distributors-Connecting with local artists who wish to display their comics, zines, or artworks in the storeOver the course of a year, I developed a complete body of orientation materials and instructional documentation for new staff. I also worked to organize and catalogue the store's entire stock of over 3000 titles on the store's website.

In consulting with the GRC, I was tasked with:-Designing a functional file structure for the GRC's archived media records according to archival best-practices-Developing naming convention that clearly outlined the context and contents of a particular record-Creating a system to clearly indicate whether or not a particular media project contained sensitive content

As a Medical Affairs Coordinator, I helped manage and maintain sensitive medical staff data for all of VCH within a provincially-shared database. With the rest of my team, I worked to develop and implement policies for handling and recording data safely and efficiently. I was personally responsible for documenting my department's processes and developed a full body of instructional documentation within a year. My team and I also represented VCH's Medical Affairs at province-wide discussions.
