IES Abroad is an American non-profit study abroad organization, providing programs for university students across the world. IES Abroad has its headquarters in Chicago and 33 centers across the world. The IES Abroad Center in Amsterdam offers semester-long programs in cooperation with the Universiteit van Amsterdam, the Vrije Universiteit and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, as well as short-term faculty-led programs and it's own summer program.As Housing & Counseling Coordinator, I work closely with the Student Affairs and Operations Manager in securing and facilitating housing placements for students participating in semester-long programs, as well as in summer term and short customized programs. Furthermore I assist students with setting up counseling sessions, strengthening our relationship with counselors who help our students and assist students more generally throughout the semester, including during special events or trips, and provide any urgent assistance as required.

I work as Process Manager at music publishing company Houston Comma. Here I make sure that all the songs the artists in our roster have (co-)worked on are correctly registered with Buma/Stemra and Sena. In order to do so, I am in close contact with music labels and music colleagues abroad to discuss the distributions for each title. In addition, I handle incoming sync requests. Core responsibilities are: - Registering new titles Buma/Stemra + Sena- Creating song selections for various sync briefs- Maintaining contact with other publishers and music labels in the industry

I have worked at the ESSB as a year coordinator for both year 1 and 3 of Pedagogical Sciences. Students could contact me when they had questions related to their course schedule, group compositions, exams and other administrative matters.

I used to provide presentations at secondary schools about university education. During the presentations I supported secondary school students to reflect on their choice of study and to prepare them for their time as a future student.

Involved in various projects and I write blogs about the Music-Pitch network events for the website.

During the summer I provided information to current or prospective students about enrolment and deregistration, student guidance & courses, internationalization & tuition fees and student facilities.

Promoting the IBACS/ACW and CEE programme among prospective students. This entails providing 'student for a day' events, classroom presentations and campus tours.
