Responsible for integration of irrigation technology / digital marketing / innovation & sustainability issues. Managed projects: Veggie Prime phase lll (4,3 ha tomato greenhouse in Querétaro, Mexico)

Carrying out activities in the fields of spatial planning, environment and sustainability:- Research concerning several physical-chemicals and biological waste water treatment options - Projects concerning air quality and nitrogen deposition.- Research concerning Smart Cities in 20 municipalities in the Netherlands to address the question: How become the Dutch cities intelligent, and how does this relate to their ambitions regarding sustainable development? I interviewed several aldermen of large and medium cities about their 'Smart City' vision.- Exploring the possibilities of vertical farming, urban agriculture and phytoremediation in the region of Rotterdam (Capelle a/d IJssel) and Leiden.

Global ARCHS (Global Architecture) is a transdisciplinary design lab, consisting of a network of young professionals focusing on urbanism, architecture, project management and multimedia design with sustainable development as foundation. Completed projects:- Booklet of sustainable area development in Province Zuid-Holland; called 12:21, 12 duurzame gebiedsontwikkelingen in Provincie Zuid-Holland, ter inspiratie voor de 21e eeuw (published in November 2010) - projects such as Nieuw Leyden, Erasmusveld, Zuidplaspolder. Developed in cooperation with TU Delft (Arjan van Timmeren), IVAM, environmental agencies and property developers. Promotion website and second edition were launched in 2012;- Exploration Farm City: modular farming in the metropolis. Including 5 locations in and around Rotterdam;- Quickscan to indicate possibilities for redevelopment of cultural (religious) real estate in Province Zuid-Holland.

Contributed to the Mainport-Greenport project, carried out by XploreLab (Department of Environmental Affairs) and TransForum, investigating the possibilities for synergy between Rotterdam Harbour and horticultural area Westland-Oostland. Responsible for several publications and the organisation of an excursion.
