At Columbia Business School, I am the Barbara and Meyer Feldberg Associate Professor of Business at Columbia Business School, a faculty affiliate of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics, and a member of the Academic Advisory Council for the Columbia Law School’s Center for Gender and Sexuality Law ERA Project.In my research, I focus on understanding the drivers of workplace gender inequality. My goal is to move past simply identifying that gender differences exist, by developing a more comprehensive understanding of the precise levers that exacerbate or reduce these differences. My research has been published in top peer-reviewed journals including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, and Organization Science and has been featured in leading media outlets including the Harvard Business Review and Wall Street Journal.
