I led on the development and evolution of CDP's environmental disclosure framework relating to water security. This included research, development and quality assurance of updates to the questionnaires, reporting guidance and scoring methodology materials, which provide environmental information to investors, customers and other data-users, and drive companies’ actions to catalyse the transition to a sustainable economy.

In this role, I developed CDP's water security reporting framework to better capture and incentivise action in corporate supply chains, action in high water impact sectors, and action to reduce water pollution. Additionally, I developed CDP’s first disclosure metrics on plastic pollution in collaboration with various organisations working to tackle the plastics crisis.

I worked with the EIA Bolivia bridge program on tool procurement, site logistics, community relations, material acquisition, topographical surveying and footbridge construction. Engineers in Action works to increase rural access to essential services such as healthcare, education and economic opportunities through the strategic design and construction of footbridges.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Boreal Water Resources works in renewable power generation and hydraulics. I completed hydrology, energy, and financial models in Excel worksheets for hydropower projects, as well as analyzed the potential for modular micro turbines along Canadian rivers. I conducted research into solar installations and nonintrusive approaches to measuring river flow data.

Kakamega, Kenya

Sawashi works to increase access to clean water and sanitation services in rural Kenya. Through the Sawashi local staff, I learned about processes for evaluation, maintenance, and construction of water wells. I collected and organized data in Excel worksheets to establish a baseline of water quality and to monitor changes over time. I also gave presentations in schools on local and global water issues as well as created content for the company website.

Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada

I performed construction surveying using a robotic total station and GPS as well as completed routine site inspections. I documented construction progress through daily and weekly reports, took meeting minutes, performed traffic counts, and completed quantity measurements.

Auckland, New Zealand

I contributed to investigations into biological degradation technologies for wastewater treatment, specifically for emerging organic micro pollutants. My responsibilities included solution preparation, biological reactor operation, Ion Chromatograph operation, Microsoft Visio drawing creation, Millennium 3 logic controller installation and programming, and data analysis in Excel worksheets.

I taught jazz, tap and ballet classes to children aged 3 to 9 years. My responsibilities included choreographing and preparing routines for performance, communicating all important information with the parents of students, and training older students in proper teaching techniques and etiquette.
