Specifically, I focused on recruitment, training and onboarding for the team of Pick Packers and Inwards staff. I also established new processes to streamline the Supie hub to improve efficiencies. Operational responsibilities at Supie:● Assisting in the leading, recruiting and training of the operational team ● Overseeing demand planning, rostering and payroll for all operational staff ● Fulfillment of all orders to meet key performance metrics of labour and error targets● Establishment and ongoing monitoring of food control processes to comply with MPI National Program three● Ordering of all consumable, packing and fulfillment-related supplies ● Management of inwards stock, stock rotation to a strict first in, first out stock policy and overseeing a stock management program to ensure inventory accuracy ● Working on strategic revenue growth opportunities including streamlining and increasing the range offered through our E-Commerce partner TheMarket.co.nz● Overseeing projects to ensure increased growth and demand could be met. I managed all aspects of outbound deliveries for the EML production sites in Auckland and Wellington. I oversaw a team of pick packers and in-house delivery drivers. From March 2020 onwards my position involved navigating the constantly changing requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had a key role in initiating and managing operations when the business pivoted to delivering food boxes to family homes and a new product line of fresh grocery boxes to customers. In October 2020 I was also involved in the successful tender for a new government school lunch contract worth $20 million servicing 48 schools. To comply with the contract I was responsible for scaling up operations including setting up two new production sites, tendering and fitting out of a delivery fleet, establishing new processes to produce 17,500 lunches and recruiting and onboarding a team of 100 staff. In August 2021, during the COVID-19 lockdown, EML secured a Ministry of Social Development contract worth $3 million and I led the scale-up to deliver food parcels to families in need. My responsibilities include the setting up of tours, checking in guests and looking after tour groups of up to 14 people. This includes guiding the guests as they complete three zip lines and a native bush walk. Throughout the tour I am responsible for ensuring that health and safety requirements are met.
