Safety and customer service is the name of the game. I have had the privilege to serve the public by providing safe, reliable, and customer based service. When I'm not interacting with the public I am serving as a safety representative for fellow operators, furthering my education through web based trainings, and doing my part to help train new operators. As someone who is safety and customer focused, I have rarely felt as fulfilled as I have operating light rail in Tacoma for Sound Transit.

Leader, railcar safety inspector, and expert on freight train movements throughout the U.S. and Canada. For over six years my job was to supervise and move freight. I humbly did my part to keep goods moving throughout the U.S. during some of our most trying times. As a leader I trained the next generation of unionized employees to safely and efficiently take the reigns of one of the most critical jobs the economy relies upon. Serving was my passion.

As a nuclear security specialist, I led a team of 30 Sailors and Marines, with the mission of access control to nuclear and strategic weapons. In this role I trained personnel on the proper procedures for safeguarding nuclear and strategic weapons. I acted on behalf of the Navy and Marine Corps as a security liaison in the planning and implementation of daily security plans for strategic weapons. Furthermore, I Assisted drill coordinators to implement security drills and worked with upper management on long term strategic implementations in the workplace.
