In my role as Senior Specialist, I applied strategic thinking and precision to a range of projects, including new business pursuits, relationship management, lateral partner support and content management. Handling multiple competing priorities was an integral part of my job. I assisted in implementing programs that supported practice group business plans enhancing the firm's brand. My other responsibilities included working with practice leadership on various projects and initiatives, such as development of the RFP/RFI responses, client-specific presentations, proposals and other client-facing materials; management of the Litigation/Controversy department's submissions for legal directories, databases and other publications as needed; overseeing the planning and execution of the firm's webinars and targeted client events from beginning to end.

In the Specialist role, I supported the global Client Development team on a range of initiatives, including the execution of pitch materials, presentations, responses to requests for proposal, marketing content management, firm and client events, sponsorships and marketing communications. While assisting with business development activities across legal departments, I also continued to provide an enhanced level of service to nearly 500 of WilmerHale’s litigators and controversy professionals, who had played an integral role in many of the most significant cases across the globe.

As Coordinator, I supported the client development of US Litigation/Controversy practice groups at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm, through an integrated marketing and business development strategy. I was responsible for the full lifecycle of steps related to the planning and implementation of numerous firm events, CLE webinars, sponsorships, conferences and client receptions. Worked on select projects to support market recognition initiatives and legal directories such as Chambers USA, Best Law Firms and Legal 500. Prepared marketing packets, pitch and proposal materials for US-based partners. Drafted events, programs and sponsorship information for the external website and firm intranet. Planned and led instrumental activities related to firm events such as venue research, contract negotiation, electronic invitation design and deployment, RSVP tracking, thought leadership and CLE materials preparation, vendor management and event follow-up. Supported firm-wide initiatives some of which are the Women’s Leadership, Alumni and Diversity. In addition, I managed all aspects of the New York office’s Madison Square Garden client development suite and ticket allocations, including one-off requests for concert, show and sporting event tickets.
