About Mackenzie Campbell

As a research scientist in the analytical chemistry lab at Lactalis Canada, I support the research and development team through biochemical testing of a wide variety of dairy ingredients and finished products on a project basis. Outside of sample analysis, my days are spent establishing and troubleshooting methods and instruments and collaborating with product developers in creating new product formulations. Colleagues would describe me as an energetic, hardworking individual who is always eager to lend a hand. I am perpetually curious and strive to find any chance to learn and explore new avenues within the scientific field. Previously, I competed nationally as a varsity middle-distance runner with the Western track & field team. I now take a further active role in the community through volunteer and athletic involvement. Salthaven Wildlife Rescue has provided me an opportunity to restore the natural world for others to enjoy it as I have. In my personal life I strive to explore nature and new cultures through travel and outreach.
