As a result of my presence in the Architecture – Project and Facility Management program, I have gained in-depth experience working with Revit and AutoCAD, as well as proficient skills in Microsoft programs. I have acquired over 250 hours of studio time to date and have equivalent number of independent hours for other projects. Within this includes the development and delivery of presentations to faculty and peers, and leadership opportunities within group projects. I also have educational experience with structures, building systems, costing/budgeting, working with the building code, and experience with scheduling. Within my program, I will also be learning how to analyze blueprints, construction specifications, building performance, life cycle costing, etc. Through education, co-operative experiences, along with my passionate interest in the field, I'm optimistic that my career aspirations to become part of the building industry, with goals to become a building inspector or a project manager, will be successful.
