Team Lead on both commercial tenant and capital improvement projects with an emphasis on integrating interior and architectural design. Mackenzie is especially proud to have been a part of a 7-story building remodel in Union Square that consisted of a full seismic upgrade, 2-story art gallery, artist studio and roof deck, 3 floors of turn-key-office space, and a 2-story residential penthouse complete with a roof deck and therapy pool. Most recently Mackenzie worked with SF PlaceMade on The Manufacturing Foundry delivering over 50,000 SF of below market rate manufacturing space to the heart of San Francisco.

Managed two high profile Public School Modernization projects, two Mixed-use Housing developments, and a branch bank tenant improvement. Developed reports and design schemes for the San Francisco Unified School District that convinced them to rehab a previously abandoned site and construct a new facility. Was involved in design conception and feasibility, design development, construction documents, consultant coordination, and bidding and negotiations. Especially proficient in accessibility and code compliance assessment.

Worked on a variety of projects with an emphasis in Multi-family Housing and retail tenant improvements, gaining experience in every phase of the design and construction process. Completed construction administration for a 73-unit development in Colma, CA, managed a 32-unit condominium project in San Jose, CA, and assisted on a 4-story private elementary school in Suwon, South Korea. In addition to countless site development and schematic feasibility studies, also produced two to three Tenant Improvement packages per year.

Assisted with design, drafting, and coordination in the schematic and design development phases of several Multi-family and Affordable housing projects.
