I was honored to serve as Interim Dean of Students during one of the most challenging times for higher education. I proudest accomplishment was locating the 60+ graduate students spread across the world during the pandemic and either ensuring they were safe or providing them with assistance back home. I also enjoyed crafting and delivering Laney's first remote New Student Orientation.

Independently designed and executed a mixed-methods dissertation project exploring the creation of a new language program between to partner universities located in the U.S. and China. Methods included Nexus Analysis, large-scale survey via Qualtrics, semi-structured qualitative interviews, and ethnographic observation. Recruited and screened participants for all stages of the study.

As the Director of the program, I provide leadership for the Center's instructional activities and its residential summer program. My main responsibilities include: -Designing, developing and implementing curricula, electronic resources, and the language lab-Teaching classes-Hiring and supervise adjunct instructors-Conducting course and program evaluations-Advising full-time ESL students -Updating informational and marketing materials for the ESL program -Communicating with faculty, administrators, and various departments on campus. -Testing and place students-Recruiting, developing, and administrating the Summer ESL Program. -Consistent involvement in school activities including admissions and club advisement.

As part of a team I developed and delivered the SGPL Premier Program, an innovative and demanding Content Based Instruction language program developed in conjunction with Harvard Business School (HBS). With in the Premier Program I have responsibility for: -Business Correspondence- a writing course based on HBS Case Studies-Discussion Strategies- an integrated reading, listening, and speaking course-The Premier Challenge a case based team role play focused on the concepts and language of each content module (Strategy, -Marketing, Operations, Leadership) -Content Premier Challenge coordinator and liaison between SHRDC instructors and trainees In addition to the Premier Program I also work in Samsung’s Expatriate and Global Program -Instruct Business Writing, Business English. Presentations, Global English. Listening-Advise trainees on individual countries before they are dispatched abroad

As one of three managers, I was responsible for supervision and development of the program, teachers, and students. I also maintained 10 hours of teaching a week.
