I am a young, fit adult who has a strong work ethic and a good understanding of how a hospital environment works. I have a lot of experience with adapting to new tasks and environments and i’m very easy going and laid back. I have a lot of experience in communicating with all sorts of different people and cultures due to growing up in a military family and moving around a lot as a child, this has seen me become a strong and resilient individual. I learnt a lot about patient handover, care of a pregnant women and her developing child, and also about how a hospital environment operated through my first year Antenatal Placement. As well as this i have undertaken a placement in Aged Care. In that time, I developed an excellent understanding of how most days were structured and was confident and competent in feeding, dressing, bathing/assisting in showering and communicating with residents. I also have experience and knowledge on manual handling techniques and use of hoists.
