Hello!My name is Mackenzie Campbell. I am a 24 year old Niagara College student in the Business Administration - Supply Chain and Operations Management CO-OP program. I am very eager to begin a career in the operations field, beginning with an eight month CO-OP fulfillment in my field. I am hoping that both the experience I gather from CO-OP and the education I have received from Niagara College will lead me to the job of my dreams as an Operations Manager. Niagara College has given me the best educational experience I could have asked for. The hands-on learning experience and great professors have given me the passion I have for business, and it is a goal of mine to get the opportunity in the future to return as a professor for this school. The Supply Chain and Operations Management program has given me an excellent background in essential Operations aspects such as continuous improvement, six sigma, lean production, and waste management. In addition to the essentials for operations I have also been trained to efficiently navigate programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Presentations. While I am in school, I have been working as a server in a high-volume restaurant in Fonthill. Working this job through my college career has taught me essential life and work-related skills such as time-management and dependability. Working as a server has been an excellent way to build upon communication and customer-relation skills. Each day, I am responsible for the experience of many people who choose to dine at our restaurant and because of this I have gained an excellent backgroud in conflict-resolution and customer communication. I truly enjoy being a front of the line employee , and I hope that in my future career I can continue to deal with people on a daily basis as it is something I am truly passionate about.
