About Mackenzie O'Donnell

I am a people-oriented organizer with strong interpersonal skills and specialized attention to detail. My previous experience in grassroots campaigning, environmental education and social entrepreneurship has led me to work in a variety of fields including, but not limited to, environmental sustainability, youth issues, women's reproductive rights, independent films, legal gun ownership, and innovative philanthropy. After graduating from the University of San Francisco, I relocated to Mendocino County where I have been working to turn a former logging mill and commercial fishery into a sustainable campground and event center in the heart of the Emerald Triangle. My intentions are to improve corporate social responsibility, environmental education standards, as well as connect the public back to our natural roots and encourage people to occasionally disconnect from the technological hotseat of Silicon Valley.
