I am currently a Coordinator for Residence Education (AKA Resident Director) at the University of Arkansas. During my tenure in this position, I have enjoyed working closely with RAs, mentoring them, and seeing them develop their interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills. I have worked in the field of student affairs, both paraprofessionally and professionally, for nearly five years, and it has shown me how much I love being a resource to help students succeed. I'm motivated by developing relationships, overcoming challenges, and being surrounded by others who care about their work. I've had the privilege of running residence halls, interning with the International Academic Programs office at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and teach freshman seminar classes. My experiences have left me skilled in supervision, facilitation, crisis management, external relations, and instilled a passion for international education.
