I began my journey at Pluralsight as a Product Support Representative for their Cloud product. My team and I assisted customers via Zendesk and delivered an exceptional support experience through our above average response times and ability to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries quickly. I advocated for our customers by actively communicating their feedback and suggestions to our Product Teams, driving impactful improvements to the platform.In just under a year, I moved into a Senior Product Support Representative role supporting Pluralsight's native Skills product. This required me to lead my team and quickly become a product expert for another platform. In this role, I collaborate closely with my team to ensure we are up-to-date with product releases and internal processes. I've also spearheaded the development and implementation of a robust Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure a higher level of consistency in our customer experiences.I've had the privilege to work with such a phenomenal and collaborative team at Pluralsight while also being encouraged to take ownership of my own professional development. It's been so enlightening to see how much difference a well-rounded and diverse team can truly make.

As a customer service representative, I worked on a team of three individuals but remained responsible for all customers on my account. I maintained daily order entry and invoicing procedures. My main responsibility was to ensure that my customers stayed happy and interested in doing business with the company. I did this by working closely with my contacts, both through email and phone calls. I assisted with order changes, cancellations, and production requests.During this position, I became familiar with the J. D. Edwards software, developing my skills to run reports, process orders, and send invoices. I demonstrated my ability to learn new information quickly, handle requests and concerns in a timely manner, and grow and retain relationships with all of my customers.

Even though this position provided support for employees, it relied heavily on providing quality customer service. Being a Resident Assistant was the most challenging and most rewarding job I've ever experienced. In this position, I served on a team of six Resident Assistants and one Resident Director. I assisted in the overall supervision of the residence hall, responding to requests and emergencies. I also planned and coordinated community events for my section as well as the dorm. Bi-weekly, I would attend a training seminar along with the rest of the Community Life Staff. Being an RA was a 24/7 position, so it stretched me in ways I didn't think possible. I was forced to grow in my time management skills, and I learned the importance of taking care of yourself both mentally and physically.

During my second summer interning for this family-owned company, I learned more about the financial side of operations. I printed and prepared invoices to be paid for Accounts Payable. I also assisted our Cost Analysts by updating yield files with daily production and entering work hours. During my summer, I built a relationship with our People Services department. This allowed me to help them with various projects as well as cover receptionist shifts. I am very grateful for everything Request Foods has taught me during my internships, and I'm excited to be back with the company full-time.

This was my first internship experience for a company I have grown to love. While working in the Labeling and Regulatory Department, my primary responsibilities were to update nutritional information in a labeling software, Genesis, and proof various packaging and nutrition labels for discrepancies. As I grew in my capabilities, I also assisted the Labeling and Regulatory Specialists in drafting and verifying label approvals and corresponded with our packaging vendors when needed.

This was a weekly position on Wednesday mornings to assist in childcare for mothers attending a Bible study. I worked with a team to oversee and care for up to twenty-four young children, ranging ages one to three. I facilitated educational activities as well as play time. While my primary focus was to ensure the safety of the children in my care, I also made sure that they had a fun experience and looked forward to the following week.

During this position, I worked alongside two other cooks and reported to the Kitchen Supervisor. I was responsible for managing five cooks' assistants during food preparation and directing weekend meal preparation as well. I learned how to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, serving upwards of 2000 meals per day. I followed proper food safety guidelines, and ensured that my staff did the same. This was my first management position, and I gained valuable experience in training, delegating, and leading a team.

Shortly after starting my position as a Cook at Lake Ann Camp, I was asked to serve as one of the resident assistants for the high school staff as well. This required me to enforce curfews and other staff policies. I also took the time to emotionally invest in the girls in my cabin. One week out of the summer, I temporarily stepped up as the Support Staff Supervisor, leading a devotional and planning an event for the entire high school staff. It is in this position that I truly experienced my love for serving others, and this is what first led me to become a Resident Assistant at Cornerstone University.

My responsibilities as a Deli Clerk included slicing a variety of specialty meats and cheeses per customer request, preparing foods for purchase, and providing outstanding customer service by completing orders in a timely manner. I helped maintain a clean working environment, abiding by all food safety guidelines, and I was responsible for closing the deli at the end of the night.
