As a Tactical Literacy Team Member at Chattanooga 2.0, I develop and deliver effective literacy intervention programs for students and families in the Avondale area, a community with high poverty and low literacy rates. I also establish and maintain partnerships with equity-driven nonprofits and organizations to provide additional resources and support for the families I serve.I have a Master of Education in Educational Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, where I focused on curriculum design, assessment, and instructional leadership. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I received a Presidential Scholarship and graduated with honors. My education background gives me a unique perspective on the intersection of education, economics, and social justice.I have over eight years of experience in various education roles, including teaching, talent management, and behavior management. I am a skilled communicator, instructor, and public speaker, as well as a lifelong learner who can adapt to any challenge. My goal is to create positive and lasting impact on the students, families, and communities I work with, by empowering them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
