I concentrated in Infectious disease and Microbiology as well as in Social and Behavioral Sciences. During my undergrad, I conducted research for the Bioprospecting lab focusing on the antifungal properties of endophytic fungi. In addition, having an entrepreneurial mentality, I found receiving my business minor essential to excel in the healthcare, research, and business industry. I learned management, entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, and finance skills. I can now better apply the knowledge gained in my Public Health degree from courses in global health, health behavior theory and practice, environmental health, and immunology.
