A Business Development professional with a proven track record of selling solutions and services in complex project environments. I use these traits to guide me through my professional life.During 2020 I joined the Ascot based "Scrubs Glorious Scrubs" initiative that brought businesses and communities together to help each other in delivering PPE to Frimley, Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals free of charge. Our local network of amazing sewers manufactured more than 11,000 sets of scrubs, keeping NHS staff, patients and their families safe during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, we were fortunate enough to be able to provide 600,000 meters of fabric to other groups around the country who were involved in similar activities. Working on a volunteer basis, my role covered the complete project life-cycle from sourcing raw materials, coordinating sewers and delivery of finished goods to the hospitals. It was whilst being part of the Scrubs initiative that I became interested in finding a better solution to personal protection than that available at the time. This led to me working with a group of like minded people and the creation of ECO Personal Protection, followed by the subsequent launch of an exciting range of personal protection wear including an innovative face mask.Outside of work I am a Volunteer Police Cadet Leader with Thames Valley Police, helping teenagers develop their skills and confidence through a structured programme of neighbourhood crime prevention initiatives, community activities and events.John
