Managed the front desk of a busy and successful allied health clinic for 5 years. Handled appointment scheduling, payments and administrative tasks (i.e. profit/loss and wages). Gained a thorough understanding of the workings of third party insurers (including DVA, EPC, private health insurance and workcover) and initiated communications with medical practices, other allied health offices and insurance companies to optimise patient care and the business side of the clinic.
