In April 2022, I joined the team at APL Windows Solutions, the market leader in Aluminium Windows and Doors, as a Marketing Content Coordinator. This role serviced APL, along with all of the other business entities under the same umbrella (Profile Group, APL Direct, APL Manufacturing, AGP, and PPL). I was the sole charge of running the social media accounts both of a corporate and consumer nature; including well-known brands Altherm, First, Vantage and Klima which are owned by APL. Highlights of this role included:* Integrating new processes and content pillars to reflect the changes in the social media sphere * Working collaboratively with a team of in-house designers and marketing specialists to manage a high level of projects efficiently* Producing communication advisors for customers, often of a critical or time sensitive nature * Supporting the Sponsorship and Events team with partnership activity and event coordination/administration, for partners like Gallagher Chiefs, Silver Ferns, and Vantage Black Sticks* Becoming the subject matter expert (SME) in database management and email newsletters, achieving an open rate higher than industry average.

In 2021, I served as the Communications Intern for Wintec and its sub-brands, Wintec School of Media Arts, Ramp Gallery and Ramp Festival. I completed over 340 hours in this role, where I fulfilled many of the key obligations of a Communications Coordinator/Advisor. This included:* Interviewing and writing stories on the incredible mahi of Wintec Students and Staff.* Creating content (photography, video, design) for social media and web purposes.* Developing Communications Plans and Marketing Strategies for Wintec, including Ramp Festival 2021.* Managing social media accounts and engagement, responding to queries from public.* Using Content Management Systems (CMS) to maintain website back end and distribute press releases and newsletters.* Creating detailed project briefs to help achieve Wintec's goals* General administration tasks
