Responsible for overall health, performance and lease management of the Portfolio which entails:• Leasing, renewals and lease management• Acquisitions and Disposals of buildings. Seeking buying/development opportunities• Generate and review Capex and building budgets• Review Management Accounts and identify opportunities for efficiency or improvement• Actively seek to achieve owners financial objectives in terms of yield and any other relevant KPIs Insurance - policy management• Actively seeking leasing opportunities and seeing process through to completion.• Liaison with Brokers and ensuring properties remain top of mind• Sourcing and optimizing non-core income opportunities such as advertising, events/functions, pop-up stores/tenants etc• Advertising Strategies• Ensuring accounts receivable are correct, up to date, kept to a minimum - follow up on outstanding payments etc• Ensure Tenants accounts are correct and any queries rectified timeously• Generate and ensure Utilities are correct, correctly allocated and billed accordingly• Liaison with CoCT/JHB or professionals to resolve Utilities/Electrical discrepancies• Generate project budgets.• Oversee any renovations, refurbishments and building projects• Plan, direct, coordinate and budget all activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, implementation and handover• Professional team liaison.• Implement measures to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the Portfolio - Electrical, water• Green campaign, energy efficient reports.

Experiences include:•Facilities manage commercial, industrial and retail portfolio of around 200 000sqm or R3billion.•Full design and implementation of Facilities management framework at BRP Investments.•Design and Project management of 2 Commercial Property developments on Black River Park.•Design and implementation of R30m worth of Capex Projects annually•Managed over 50 staff in various teams•Owned and managed HVAC maintenance and general R&M company•Installation of the Southern Hemispheres’ largest Rooftop Solar PV system.•First IPP to push generated power back onto the grid and negotiated the buy-back agreement with CoCT.•First Green-star rated Park, including 3 x 6-Star World Leadership Buildings on the existing Buildings Rating Tool.•Tenant engagement with over 300 tenants including lease negotiations.
