👉 What do I do?I redesign websites for early stage B2B SaaS startups and Professional Service Businesses (PSBs)👉 How is that different than any other designer?I design with a marketing-first approach instead of a design-first approach most design agencies take.👉 What's that mean, design with a marketing-first approach?If the design ( say you need to redesign your startup's website ) doesn't help clarify:- what it is- what problem it solves- who its for- what benefit they get... then it's a waste.That's what I do.👉 Is that you?👉 Why would you need someone like me?If you don't have your own internal marketing team, then you need a little bit of everything and not a lot of any one thing. You don't need, or would benefit from, a specialist. ( a product marketer, growth marketer, seo guru, web designer, etc...)You need a generalist!Someone who can stitch it altogether.An entire mktg dept in one person.👉 Why me?Because I've sat in the chair, internally.I started as that generalist in a sub $1mil startup and helped them bootstrap until they had a full mktg dept.I know what not to waste time on, because I learned some of it the hard way.👉 Okay, so do you do design or marketing?Every design needs a marketing purpose.All marketing needs a design touch.Your first mktg/design hire generally needs to touch and be good at all of it.And frankly, that's often hard to find if not expensive for experienced help.So, "hire" fractional help, me, on a retainer basis or get help on a significant product - ie. rebuilding/designing the website and GTM plan.Of course, redesigning websites are the big kahuna, but you might not need that right now.More iterative ongoing help might be better.For that, well.... you're in luck :)✅ Retainer packages for longer working engagements:Hiring a full-time designer can be expensive for someone experienced, and risky for someone a little on the green-side of things.
