My name is Madeline (Maddy) Heil. I am originally from Bourbonnais, IL, and am currently a student-athlete at Northwood University in Midland, MI. I am partaking in the accelerated masters program with a major in accounting and a minor in data analytics. After graduating with my masters I plan to take the CPA exam to enhance my skills. I have always found interest in mathematics and loved helping people so, it is my hope to execute both of the skills through a career as an accountant.In the past I have mastered my customer service skills through service industry jobs. One of these positions (Subway manager) allowed me to interact with customers and experience business functions like daily sales, calculating profitability, handling cash drops, and organizing people. While these functions seem basic compared to what I am currently learning at Northwood, this experience has built my confidence when handling cash flow.I would love to start connecting with companies to improve my skills and have real world accounting experience!
