In my current role, I assist in all aspects of running the departments. The departments include Studio, St. John, Bridge Coats, Individualist, and Via C. One of my responsibilities is side by side coaching and training the team to be successful in their roles as salespersons. Additionally, I do product merchandising and help keep track of inventory levels. I am in consistent communication with the buyers and merchandisers regarding feedback on how the merchandise is working. In addition to coaching my team on direct selling, I help drive sales for the department by my established relationships with customers. I am also responsible for interviewing and hiring candidates that would be a good fit for the team.

As the Specialist, I ensure that my team meets and exceeds sales goals for the Eileen Fisher brand. I also help coordinate various Eileen Fisher events for our customers. I communicate on a regular basis to our company regional buyers regarding incoming merchandise as well as being in charge of replenishment. Additionally, I merchandise our sales floor to be the most marketable to our customer.

As a salesperson at Nordstrom I engage in directive selling in retail fashion with customers on a daily basis.I first establish a relationship, then find out how I can meet their needs and provide exceptional customer service to every customer, every time. After I am done servicing the customer, I maintain and continue to develop the relationship through consistent follow up.
