I am a double major in Broadcast Journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism and Digital Media Communications with a minor in Black women studies at The University of Maryland. I am working staff writer and the Video Desk Chief for The Black Explosion. I also freelance as a video reporter for the Diamondback News. I run the Academic Achievement Program's social media and am a President for The Maryland Association of Black Journalists.I've always had an eye for creativity and storytelling. As an aspiring journalist, I aim to tell stories of advocacy, social justice, diversity, and inclusion to shine a positive light on minority communities.
