I am a first year Veterinary student currently studying at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland. I am studying this course as I aspire to make a positive contribution to international animal welfare practices. I am very passionate about all animals but particularly endangered species.I have been involved in an abundant of volunteer roles including GAWS animals shelter, Elephant Nature Park in Thailand and Bellarine Veterinary Clinics. In addition, I have been involved in community volunteering such as fun runs, sporting events for children and adults with disabilities, sporting games at Melbourne’s MCG and teaching sports to primary school students.I work part-time Petstock, where I highly succeed in taking initiative and pride myself in positive communication with others, including customers, managers, and other staff. Part-time work has helped me developed strong communication skills and energetic confidence by interactions with various different personalities of all backgrounds and ages, as well as development on problem-solving and leadership skills.I am currently looking for employment in the animal and conservation industry and believe I will make a great assist as an employee because I am enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking in addition, I strive to learn new things as well as communicate and widen my own knowledge.
