Extensive experience advising Australian government on communication projects.

Designed and published written and visual content for digital media, primarily for the ASBFEO website and several social media channels. I produced media releases and opinion pieces on behalf of the Ombudsman, fact sheets, news articles, infographics, presentations and briefing material.Key achievements include:• Analysed and researched data, audiences and channels to produce the social media strategy for ASBFEO.• Managed a social media campaign to generate awareness and receive contributions to the ASBFEO’s Payment Times report. More than 2000 small business owners participated in the survey, and their data informed the Department of Jobs and Small Business’ Payment Times Reporting Framework consultation process.

Compiled and proof-read media releases, fact sheets, talking points, blogs, social media content and documents for web publication (chemical reviews, Trade Advice Notices, Public Release Summaries, Corporate and Operational Plans). I designed fact sheets, banners and posters for internal and external use (InDesign, Photoshop). I also created and managed web pages on the external APVMA website—and staff intranet—to upload publications (Word and PDF format accessible), updated and edited pre-existing web content, reviewed and fixed broken links and general administration tasks using the content management system (Drupal).Key achievements include:• Successfully reviewed existing web pages, re-writing and publishing approved content to the external website. This has resulted in over 40 pages of updated or new content published.• Successfully reactivated the APVMA’s Twitter account, writing governing policy for its activity and ongoing management. I was the sole manager for this account, monitoring daily and creating an editorial schedule to draft content for approval and maintaining excellent record management.
