- Develop reports using security administration, RACF, zSecure and Job Control Language.- Modify jobs using JCL and CARLa.- Implement dataset encryption using ICSF to align with PCI DSS 4.0 standards.- Assist in the security of electronic information and establish security systems, policies, and procedures to prevent system compromise or infiltration.- Investigate, recommend, and monitor the implementation of new security products and services.- Work with other departments to ensure security of products and services.- Monitor and evaluate internal and external security threats.- Research security threats and implement appropriate changes to the Security program to prevent company and customer data assets from being compromised.- Perform quarterly mainframe audits, and collaborate with auditors to ensure adherence to security standards and compliance.- Perform yearly certificate renewals- Manage group, user, dataset, and resource profiles using zSecure and RACF using the concept of “ 'least privilege required”.- Provide support for Mainframe related access issues.

• Responsible for the operational functionality of the Mainframe Operations team within Wells Fargo technology production platform• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure dependability of our z/OS systems• Reporting critical information, when risk or potential customer impact occurs to Senior management to ensure awareness and correct remediation processes that are in place for any issues encountered• Collect and compile data to identify, document, and track issues to troubleshoot errors and implement both near term resolutions and long term process improvements• Participate in quarterly preparedness test representing Mainframe Operations in our Business Continuity Plan; failover testing to the alternate site• Analyze hardware, security and application alerts, and monitor IBM z/OS systems and health via BigPanda• Mitigate issues to ensure the operation soundness of the hardware systems and applications with multimillion dollar daily transactions• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to remediate any issue in the production environment

Mainframe Sytems Operations

• Responsible for the education of over a dozen students on coding fundamentals• Utilized the Minecraft Education Edition programming lessons to educate students in a familiar and fun setting• Assisted students to develop their own pseudocode, algorithms, loops, conditions, and other coding related concepts• Documented weekly reports on the student’s progress and participation• Attended occasional training sessions to increase my familiarity with Minecraft EDU
