I am a current Psychology student at George Mason University, projected to get my B.A. in Psychology in Spring 2024. I have completed coursework toward concentrations in both Clinical Psychology and Developmental Psychology. In addition to my coursework, I have spent multiple years working as a childcare specialist. I have held positions ranging from nanny to summer camp counselor. As a summer camp counselor, I worked under the inclusion support program and specialized in working with children who need additional support due to behavioral and sensory disorders. As a nanny, I have been able to further my skills in time management, maintaining lines of open communication, and implementing behavioral management and conflict resolution strategies. In Fall 2020, I was appointed Director of Health and Wellness for the Theta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta. As Director of Health and Wellness, I serve as a mental health resource for the chapter and have been able to help plan events and organize workshops revolving around topics such as prioritizing mental health. At the same time, serving in the position, I have made it my goal to promote an open and safe environment where other members feel comfortable approaching and confiding in me.
