In this role, I work closely with the program strategy team to develop, update, and improve programmatic narrative and written materials.

In this role, I was elected to serve and lead a community of 220 women, plan and execute events to serve the dorm, campus, and local community, raise money to support local philanthropic organizations, and lead a group of 50 Hall Council members.

In this role, I lead a group of eight Notre Dame students in a policy research and advocacy project partnered with NDPEP. We are investigating legislation regarding access to higher education for incarcerated individuals in Indiana, specifically seeking to remove barriers for inmate access to funding through the Frank O’Bannon Grants.

In this role, I share the Notre Dame story with prospective students and their families, emphasize the academic, spiritual, and social opportunities at Notre Dame, and encourage and answer questions.

In this role, I supervise the safety and well-being of children, aged 2 - 10 supporting them through activities throughout the summer and school year. I also organize and lead a storybook performance for 25 children aged 7-10, instruct volleyball, and lead various special activities for the children to enjoy.

In this role, I assist with a variety of day-to-day tasks, file organization and maintenance, and shadow the attorneys.

In this role, I assist attorneys, paralegals, victim advocates, and pre-trial diversion teams with research and clerical work, shadow Prosecutor’s Office staff, and observe court.

I work side-by-side with Public Defenders representing juveniles at the Juvenile Justice Center in St. Joseph County, Indiana. I receive hands-on experience gathering information, including interviewing clients and parents and working on cases representing guardians in Child In Need of Services cases.

I have completed three externships under the Honorable Thomas Byerley in the summers of 2021, 2022, and 2023. In this role, I shadowed Judge Byerley, assisted his office staff and judicial assistant with tasks, and spoke to lawyers and other judges/referees about their experiences.

I worked as a project member researching urban forestry. We worked to develop a plan and build upon plans in place in Albuquerque, NM to further develop their urban forests, researching successful forests in other cities and modifying previous attempts to make them more resilient and successful. This culminated in a final presentation to the mayor’s office.
