I believe new technology can meaningfully improve our future.As a VC Principal at Delek Innovation, a Delek US subsidiary, I apply my passion for technology development to source and assess investments in Energy Tech startup companies. I'm looking for startups that have scalable technology to help decarbonize and transform traditional refining and petrochemical sectors.Prior to Delek, I spent 5 years with ExxonMobil Research and Engineering, developing technology solutions in the areas of catalyst and process development, with a focus on fuels dewaxing, hydrocracking and renewable fuels. I have both a B.S. in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill and Ph.D in Chemistry (heterogeneous catalysis) from Northwestern University.My professional interests include technology scale up, finance, catalysis, refining, and petrochemicals.
