Human rights and humanitarian aid professional with a passion for advocating for human rights on the global stage. Current J.D. Candidate and Human Rights Scholar at the New York University School of Law, Class of 2027.I recently completed a Fulbright Research Fellowship in Quito, Ecuador, where I conducted research on Venezuelan refugee and migrant protection and resettlement in Quito, in collaboration with the IAEN Universidad Escuela de Derechos y Justicia and the UNHCR.I have a degree in Honors Political Science and minors in Arabic and Hispanic Studies from McGill University, where I graduated with First Class Honors and on the Dean's Honor list. I aim to pursue a career in international human rights law, with a focus on the protection of the rights of refugees, migrants, and asylum-seekers. My research interests focus on climate justice and human rights, particularly those pertaining to Latin America and the Middle East and North Africa.
