Madison Mcqueen Email and Phone Number

Madison McQueen (she/her) is currently a Social Studies teacher at Bowsher High School. At Bowsher, she enjoys incorporating primary sources and project-based learning to engage her students in the study of history. She attended Miami University where she studied History and Integrated Social Studies Education. At Miami, she was a part of the Howe Writing Center for Excellence, the University Honors Program and the History Honors Program, the latter of which she wrote an undergraduate thesis for. Her thesis explores the significance of the relationships between Black and White mothers and children leading up to and following the Civil War. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading fiction, attempting to grow plants, and cooking and baking.
