I plan and manage the programming for our organization’s overnight and day camps and city wide network events (as well as their respective budgets), lead safety training for attending leaders, distribute resources and information on local assistance programs for families in need, assist in executing internal transfers of students and their families, and lead our organization’s Christmas Store, which is a Christmas assistance program that serves over 300 kids and 100 families annually. I also work on data analysis projects to determine potential areas of growth, retention, and comprehensive engagement of our students. I created and manage a SharePoint site that details the programming and logistics of all of our sites Network Events in order to set our staff up for success. I also work with the Fan Experience team at the University of Tennessee to honor our students at Tennessee Basketball and Baseball games. In times of need at our programs, I fill in for program leaders and drive commercial vehicles to pick up and drop off students.

Launched, planned, managed, and implemented programming for elementary students in an after school program setting while laying the foundations for middle and high school students to be served. Worked closely with the church to plan community and service events, as well as serve the program and church families. Coordinated with schools, tutors, and academic readiness centers in order to aid in educational assistance for students. I also maintained a CDL and regularly drove buses.

Planned, managed, and implemented programming for urban youth, grades K-12. Worked closely with local faith-based organizations and schools in order to help provide well-rounded care for our children. Led teams of volunteers from local universities and the community in order to assist programming as well as aid in educational assistance.

Managed 27 college-aged staff as we travel to 9-10 different cities in the summer to put on a camp for 100-500 campers each week. Evaluated camp programming and staff, as well as developed them through multiple performance reviews throughout the summer. Worked closely with host churches and their respective Chick-fil-A partners from January until their week of camp in order to create an unprecedented experience for their communities and host an event for campers and their families on Fridays. Hosted sessions from the stage for campers and families each Friday.

Evaluating and developing elementary school programming, driving the children in 15-passenger vans, chaperoning field trips, cooking/serving meals for ~50 people, and serving in community events such as the community market for those with government assistance.

Created curriculum for one of the “Skills” offered to campers each summer. This curriculum was then used to engage thousands of campers across the country. Additionally, I was able to lead the skill for the staff who would be teaching it at training as well as advise them on best practices. I followed editing and printing deadlines throughout. This work was for the summers of 2016 and 2017.

Managed finances and logistics for a 9-week traveling day camp team. Finances included camp budget as well as the camp store, which involved managing 5 employees and camp store inventory. Logistics included camper placement and safety, staffer safety and worker’s compensation, and room placement at each location.

Camp Counselor to 6-25 campers at any given time. Traveled to 10 different cities in the US to do 10 different camps. Taught Bible study, a camp skill that I went on to write for two years, packed/unpacked trucks of equipment each week, and worked in customer service for parents each morning.
