Marketing Director

Atlanta, Georgia, United States

I was elected by peers as marketing director for DramaTech Theater’s 2023-2024 season to promote and grow the theater’s presence. I am in charge of overseeing and selecting graphic design, headshot, program, t-shirt, and promo video design teams, ordering merchandise, and more. I am also DramaTech's social media manager, and my past marketing experience includes t-shirt and program design for our production of Rent, as well as t-shirt design for Puffs.

Set Designer And Other Roles

Atlanta, Georgia

I am the set designer for both Spring 2024 shows at our entirely student-run, prestigious theater: Animals out of Paper and Ride the Cyclone. I have served as an assistant set designer for three productions. As a set designer, I am responsible for design decisions, assembly, painting, detail work, and more. I also help with our Fall Open House recruitment events, where I introduced potential new members to the club, wrote and directed an act for our cabaret-type Open House show, led new members in set design, performed my own act, and helped with marketing and graphic design.

Member Of Robojackets Battlebots Subteam

I am a team member of a RoboJackets Battlebots subteam creating a bot to compete nationally in Spring. Our robot is a third-iteration 45-lb shell spinner shuffler bot named Chonkiii. Our team designed, 3D modeled, and made modifications to our robot based on rigorous design reviews and past performances. We are currently constructing and testing our robot. My personal contributions include designing interchangeable teeth/hurricane subsystem that will serve as our main weapon, modified from past iterations and adapted to mitigate deformation of the main robot shell. From September 2021--May 2022, I worked on a 3-lb ring spinner bot that competed nationally and placed first in our RoboJackets in-house competition.

Avionics System Engineer

Houston, Texas, United States

I worked as an EV7 Avionics Systems Integration engineering intern at Johnson Space Center. I worked on three main projects: Orion Avionics Lunar Dust Mitigation tactics, Gateway Avionics Digital Architecture, and MADDIE, an independent research project I started. For Orion's lunar regolith mitigation, I created an 85 page document proposing a systematic plan for protecting the Orion Crew Module's internal avionics from interference from lunar dust. This document relied on research from failure mode analyses, hardware drawings, and examination of physical hardware to create the suggested plan.I also assisted with creating a digital library of Gateway's avionics systems for one of its modules using MagicDraw. This project will reduce the time needed to identify avionics errors and allow engineers to run simulations in order to identify potential failure points. This digital avionics system will drastically improve the process used to analyze avionics systems in both nominal and off-nominal situations. Finally, I proposed and conducted research into lunar dust mitigation tactics for buttons, switches, and other tactile interfaces. The project was called MADDIE, or Mitigation and Distribution of Dust in Electronics. I connected with experts in other branches, completed lab safety and microscope training, and wrote, conducted, and characterized testing procedures. I conducted this research using lunar dust simulant and described my results in a formal lab write-up.
