Working with Dr. Jordan on discovering innovative ways to use code to analyze chemical phenomena. Wass Fellowship Summer 20232024 Peter E. Siska Summer Research Fellowship Award

Using computational chemistry software (Gaussian16 and Spartan) to discover degradation pathways of Fulvic Acid on a self-proposed project mentored by Penn State Berks professor, Dr. Tribe. The research has been presented at a Penn State Berks colloquium, regional ACS poster session, and annual MoleCVUE meeting, and the abstract has been submitted to the Spring 2023 ACS conference.

Worked daily with Penn State Berks professor, Dr. Tribe, and two other high school students to learn about the Carbon cycle, computational model complex chemical structures, and present a poster at the national ACS annual meeting.

Editorial intern in the chemistry and astronomy department- Reviewing organic and general chemistry textbook questions- Performing market research- Organizing textbook question metadata- Participating in biweekly team meetings- Organizing product feedback

- Led a team of 7 other officers in planning aspects of PA-TSA conferences and events- Led in person business meeting for over 1,000 students using parliamentary procedure- Presented proposals at the July and January adult board meetings

Shadowed 3 students in the Boschi lab to learn about analytical and environmental lab techniques. Learned about mass spectrometry, gas/liquid chromatography, peak analysis software, and bench techniques.
