I am a graduate of the University of Alabama where I majored in Public Health. I am aspiring to become an occupational therapist. I would love to specialize in diabetes ,mental health, or geriatrics. I have grown up with type one diabetes, and that is what has sparked my interest in occupational therapy. I want to help people overcome obstacles that life has given them. I have also worked a little with hospice and that also made me want to become an occupational therapist even more. I love working with others and making others feel good.I am an extremely hard worker, keeping a good GPA during college, and like to set goals to accomplish. Over the past year, I have been woking at a daycare, and I absolutely love working with the children. Creating a bond with them and helping them learn new things is one of the best feelings.
