My role included a wide variety of tasks including: assisting in making updates and revisions to plans, basis of design research, starting and setting up files for incoming projects, site evaluations utilizing online resources, and assisting in some in-the-field site evaluations/testing.

My role included a wide variety of things including the following: designed bunk silo run off filter area using AutoCAD as well as survey data I helped collect in the field, assisted in collecting survey data on future, current, and as-built project sites, assisted in drawing and finishing plans on AutoCAD, and independently learned how and effectively completed many geological map surveys for multiple projects using ArcGIS Pro. Through the PRO-Dairy Dairy Advancement Program, I also had an opportunity to participate in professional development and other educational events.

The Nutrient Management Spear Program (NMSP) is a program with many teams within it with the overarching goal of sustainable agriculture specifically within the dairy industry. My role was connecting the engineering side of agriculture with the current projects that were already being worked on. My main focus was in manure management as I got a lot of first hand experience with manure storages with A. Weiss. I connected with the NMSP thanks to the PRO-Dairy Dairy Advancement Program.
