As an undergraduate student, in the summer, I researched the effects that Ignatian Spirituality has on college-students who are making big, life- changing decisions. I read many books and took notes on the life of Saint Ignatius, the history of the time period, and the effects that spirituality has on people. I gained confidence in my abilities to work in a religious profession and started preparing for my Capstone. I worked closely with one of my Religious Studies professors and created an oral presentation. I presented this research at Viterbo University's Seven Rivers Symposium in November of 2024.

As a Resident Assistant for the Magnify Living Community on Viterbo's campus I assist in supervising residents, responding to complaints, reports, request, and emergencies, facilitating resolution of disagreements with residents, attending staff meetings and training sessions, organizing and directing regular floor meetings with residents, and submitting reports on violations and safety issues.

I tutor students in philosophy and theology to help them improve their grades. As a tour guide I explain concepts and terms through notes, power points, and study guides, support students in their classes and homework, engage with students and answer questions, created a supportive environment where students can grow, and demonstrate patience when teaching concepts.

As a tour guide at Viterbo University I answer questions from parents and potential students, guide groups around campus and teach them about the history of Viterbo, provide information for tours of all sizes, develop knowledge of the university and what it has to offer, exhibit strong communication skills by interacting with clients from all different backgrounds, and assist academic counselors in the Admissions Office.

As a daycare assistant I assisted in elementary school- aged field trips and coordinated small groups, developed relationships with the parents and fellow teachers through communication skills, created educational activities for the children to improve in their learning skills, cleaned childcare rooms and toys to keep areas safe, read stories and sang educational learning songs to children, and prepared food and served meals for children.

As an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Aquinas Middle School I help to coach girl sprinters and boys and girls distance runners, communicate with parents and supporters of athletes, focus on training each individual student to the best of their ability, provide workouts for athletes, create professional relationships with the other coaching staff, and help develop my athletes to be the best runners possible.

As a mentor at Viterbo University's Franciscan CORE week I managed time and helped high school pilgrims follow camp schedule, led group of high schoolers in service projects in La Crosse area, planned icebreakers and activities for high school pilgrims, communicated with group leaders and high school pilgrims about important information regarding camp activities, ensured safety in dorm rooms and supervised high school pilgrims, and organized small group questions.

As a nanny I openly- communicated with the parents about the children and their growth areas, exhibited patience when dealing with difficult behaviors from children, read stories, played games, and taught concepts to increase learning, took children outside for walks and trips to the park, planned activities and prepared meals, and managed household chores.
