I am currently a full-time student at Liberty University working on earning my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. This will be my second degree as I have already earned my Associate's degree in interdisciplinary studies through Liberty University's online dual enrollment program with a 4.0 GPA. I expect to graduate in May, 2026.When I am not at Liberty University earning my education, I plan to continue working as a summer intern at various companies to try to gain as much experience as possible before entering the industry as an engineer in training, hopefully to eventually become a licensed structural engineer. So far, I have worked as a truss designer at a local truss manufacturing company and as a summer intern at a General Contracting company. During my time as a truss designer, I gained experience working with Mitek software. Recently, I have also been working on developing my skills in AutoCAD. As a summer intern at a general contracting company, I was able to gain experience on a construction site. This allowed me to learn more about the construction industry and to apply some of the problem solving techniques I learned as an engineering student.
