I am the founder and president of Oakland University's first-ever fashion magazine, BeGolden. I do a mixture of positions alongside my team, including editing, writing, page design, styling, PR, etc. I also schedule/run meetings, set deadlines, come up with themes, and lead the team. When I came to OU, I always wanted to join a student magazine, only to find out there wasn't one. With the help of professors, they led me to some other awesome students to help me build a team. We now have over 30 people to help run BeGolden, and it is continuing to grow.

I worked as a digital strategy intern with a primary focus in social media. I helped with content creation by filming videos, editing, and coming up with content ideas. Alongside creation, I also helped schedule social media content through platforms like Hootsuite. My time at Hour also allowed me to go to many amazing events and help with event setup and coordination. Throughout the summer I was assigned many videos to associate produce for clients—in these videos I got to be the on-street interviewer. Outside of digital strategy, I attended editorial meetings each week to assist with gathering newsworthy stories.
