In June 2020, I Founded Elevate X Media Group with two of my peers. Graduating during COVID-19 presented us with some challenges, but we decided to capitalize on our deep immersion in the entertainment, fashion, and sports industries. We utilized our countless experiences in marketing and PR to bring together our connections and expertise to develop Elevate X. As the marketing intern, I created and managed the social media marketing strategy for the organization with a major focus on promoting initiatives, like their academic scholarships and maintains strategic relationships with partners. The most notable campaign I led, increased engagement by 24% and impressions by 38% across all of our platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Utilizing data analytic tools and valuation tactics to better understand our members and potential members, I was able to determine an effective strategy for organizational growth. This internship has taught me how to effectively manage a multiple faceted social media strategy in an unfamiliar industry and communicate across a cross-functional team.
